Surprise your loved ones with a gift for eternity. Within the pages of this book you will find the life story of MJ's mother, Marion, written in her own words through the poems she left to her family. You will also learn how Marion relied on Jesus, our Savior, God's Son.

“Merry Christmas to you and your family. Thank you so much for the book of your mom’s poetry. They are so sweet and show her deep love for her family.
I am sharing with my daughters. Another great way to share our family history. “
"Thank you so much for sending me a copy of your mom’s poetry collection.
A very beautiful surprise! I’ve been reading it by the fireplace and recalling my own warm memories of her. She brought me into her home and her family – a gift I will cherish all my life. Congratulations on the hard work of creating a book!"
“Thank you so much for sending my mom, Barbara a copy of this beautiful book about your mom, she was so happy to receive it. My Mom has dementia but is still living at home and enjoys reading & has been looking at the book every day since it came!!
Mom has spoken to me about Marion and all the memories she has of her, we just celebrated my mom’s 90th Birthday today she still has good days.
Thank you so very much for thinking to send her this special treasure!
Merry Christmas to you, God Bless You!”
“Hi M.J. Thank you so much for the book of poetry written by your mom. It’s a beautiful tribute by you and Winnie to a woman whose life was well-lived. Her priorities were always God and family. . .
. . . I remember your mom with love and affection, and I am so touched by the beauty of her writing, her love and her faith. I’m so glad you thought to share this with me.
With love to all the Werth family, and especially to you and Winnie, Marie”
"I received our copy of your Mom's poetry collection today. The first thing I saw when I opened the envelope
was your Mom's beautiful face. I'll wrap up the book and place it under our Christmas tree. It is a very special gift.
Can't thank you enough for doing this!"
"As I mentioned in my email when I received "A Life Through Poetry" in the mail I wrapped it up and put it under our Christmas tree to open Christmas morning. I just finished reading it! I planned to read a little at a time but once I got started I couldn't put it down. What a lovely adventure of a life well lived - a beautiful tribute to her, Mom, Dad, siblings and her "12" children! I thought I would have a favorite poem but I love them all - love the whole story. I will always remember your mom - she was a loving, caring person who loved the Lord. Thank you and Winnie once again for putting this together and sharing it with all of us."
Dollops of snowflakes cascading around
Passing the window and onto the ground
It’s an astonishing sight to behold
Should I gaze from inside or go out in the cold!
While I jot down these words still gazing outside
They vanished, they’ve gone –
Now where did they hide?
The ground had been previously covered in snow
To look at it, one would never know-
That dollops of snowflakes launch below-
Now I hear a tinkling on the window pane
Put on my glasses and look out again –
It’s sleet, freezing rain and only lasted a minute or so
Who else but God could make the snow
And make the lilies in the fields to grow
But even it tells the story of long ago
I must pause and thank Our God above
For the untold beauty of His love
Who else but God could place a rainbow in the sky
And give His Son, His loving Son to die
And all for us so we could know
There is someone who loves us so
He gave His Son, His loving Son,
To take away our sin-
We must repent and ask Him to come in-
Then we will have eternal life and never need to fear
About the future or the weather or even the time of the year
We have a God who loves us so and is always very near
Faith we need (in Him) and faith He gives us from the very start-
All we need do is repent and invite Him into our heart-
Just as he made the dollops of snowflakes fall
His Holy Spirit He’ll place inside you and will always answer when you call-
Be it winter, spring or fall
Be ye sick, full of hurt and pain
Sunny weather or falling rain
Our Lord, Our God will always be there
To heal, comfort and love you, to guide and teach you to have no fear
Any and every day of the year-
Call out to Him now – It takes but a minute-
Your life will be guided by His Holy Spirit in it-
He’ll show you Himself what I’m trying to say-
Do it now – do it today
I can only tell you – But to Him you must pray
